Manage Users

In SalesShaper, Sales Manager and Assistant Sales Manager have the privilege to manage and edit users of their company. Please select a topic to view its instructions.

Edit User Details

To edit a user’s details:

  1. Tap on Users from the menu panel.
  2. Look for the user that you want to edit, and click on the edit icon of the same row.
  3. On 'Edit user', make the necessary changes.
  4. Click SUBMIT once you are done.

 

Block User

If a user no longer works in your company or organization, you can block him/her so that he/she has no access to SalesShaper. To do so:

  1. On SalesShaper, tap on Users from the menu panel.
  2. Look for the user that you want to block, and click on the edit icon of the same row.
  3. Click BLOCK.
  4. You will be asked to confirm the action. Select YES.
  5. If there are existing accounts being assigned to this user, you’ll see the "Transfer accounts" screen, where you’ll need to choose another user to become the new owner of these accounts.
  6. After selecting a user, click OK.

A blocked user will take the status “(Blocked)”, and he/she will no longer be able to log in to SalesShaper.

 

Unblock User

You can unblock a previously blocked user to allow his/her access to SalesShaper. To unblock a user:

  1. Access the users list by tapping on Users from the menu panel.
  2. Look for the user that you want to unblock, and click on the edit icon of the same row.
  3. On 'Edit user', scroll down to end of the screen and click UNBLOCK.
  4. You will be asked to confirm this action. Click YES.

Once a user is unblocked, he/she will be able to log in to SalesShaper again.

 

Delete User

To delete a user:

  1. Click on Users from the menu panel.
  2. Look for the user that you want to delete, and click on the edit icon of the same row.
  3. On 'Edit user', scroll down to end of the screen and click DELETE.
  4. You will be asked to confirm this action. Click YES.
  5. If there are existing accounts being assigned to this user, you’ll see the “Transfer accounts” screen, where you’ll need to choose another user to become the new owner of these accounts.
  6. After selecting a user, click OK.

Note that once a user is deleted, his/her status will turn "Deleted". A deleted user will not be able to access SalesShaper, unless undeleted by the sales manager.

 

Undelete User

You can undelete a previously deleted user (provided you have sufficient user quota) with the following steps.

  1. Click on Users from the menu panel to access the user list.
  2. Look for the user that you want to undelete, and click on the edit icon of the same row.
  3. You are required to undelete a user before you can edit his/her details. Click YES when prompted to undelete the user.

The user will be undeleted, and you can proceed to edit his/her details or click CANCEL to go back to the ‘View user’ screen.
